Nov 16, 2018 Cilla Black's son has told how listening to her music helped him cope after her tragic death. Robert Willish gathered artists to perform on a new album titled Cilla with the Royal Liverpool. First managed by Brian Epstein, having been hat-check girl at the Cavern Club where the Beatles played. Her stage name 'Black' was not chosen by herself, instead deriving from a mistake made by the editor of Mersey Beat. Black had two #1 singles in the UK in 1964, 'Anyone Who Had a Heart' and 'You. Her children are Robert Willis (born 1970), Benjamin (born 1974), Ellen (born 1975) who only lived for 2 hours, and finally Jack (born 1980). Cilla became a proud grandmother after son Robert and his wife Fiona had a baby boy called Max in August 2004.
