I remember a time where I was day trading and the market had given me a few lumps by 11am. Instead of trading smaller or stopping altogether for the day, I decided to “beat” the market. I began taking on position after position, so much so that by the end of the day I felt like I had been through a meat grinder.
Top British pro Sam Grafton ended the day with the chip lead of all the players present in Rozvadov. Grafton bagged 26,950,000, but he is not the overall leader as Aleks Dimitrov dominated the Online Day 1+2 with 27,675,000. The 57 remaining live grinders plus the 15 online survivors are all in the money out of the 504 total entries.

Pais Eliminated on Bubble
The day started with 380 entries on the clock. Day 1a generated 165 entries and Day 1b was good for 113 entries. The online Day 1+2 had 102. The moment that the 'shuffle up and deal' was announced the clock showed 461 entries as 81 new entries were already made, partly because of the many satellites held at the King's Resort. Plenty more reentries were made as the players that found their way through to Day 2 by bagging on Day 1a or b were still able to reenter once more in the first two levels of the day in case they busted.
The pace of play was incredibly fast at the start of the day and plenty of bustouts happened in the first two levels. Philipp Gruissem, part of the partypoker Pro team, busted early in the day and so did others like David Peters, Ryan Riess, Markus Durnegger, Manig Loeser and Kevin Rabichow. Other members of team partypoker that didn't make it are Ludovic Geilich, Joao Simao and online pro Jeff Gross. They all busted fairly early on.
Plenty of others did find a bag on Day 2. Jozsef Liszkovics finished in the top region of the counts with 22,075,000 in his bag after winning a huge 20 million pot with kings against jacks of the eventual bubble boy, Mauricio Pais.

Pais lost the big pot and was left with a handful of big blinds, only to lose them later with queen-jack against ace-three of two opponents. His elimination signaled the end of the day.

Bertrand Grospellier is the only partypoker Pro who made it to Day 3 through the live route. The Frenchman bagged 2,955,000 and will start Day 3 near the bottom of the counts. Two other partypoker Pros managed to sneak in Day 3 but without setting a foot in the King's Resort in Rozvadov. Roberto Romanello (9,200,000) and Dzmitry Urbanovich (6,650,000) got through online with decent stacks.

Also the money involved is the biggest it has ever been with games to suit all budgets. Again, this translates directly to the financial markets and trading. The FX markets for example allow anyone to trade currency 24 hours a day 5 days a week. The below poker terms parallels into financial trading:
